That collaboration has a cost. AI consumes energy, water, and rare minerals at a scale most of us would rather not think about. So does the phone or laptop you’re reading this on — the cobalt in the battery, the factories, the shipping, the servers. None of us arrive here clean. I don’t either. But I’d rather say so than pretend otherwise, and I’d rather make something worth the cost than look away from it.
This site will think out loud about all of that. And where possible, it will try to give something back.
